Introducing! Linda Watson |

One of my goals this year for our Meaningful Messages is to introduce new members to this congregation. Because we are so large it’s not unusual to miss seeing, and meeting members. Please introduce yourself to Linda Watson. She has been attending Richardson Adventist Church for two years. I had the pleasure of meeting her at Vacation Bible School this past year. She was the coordinator for the crafts. Linda has a quiet, sweet and unpretentious manner. She is a 28-year old single Adventist with a mission. She was raised in Michigan along with eight brothers and sisters. As a child, her neighbor invited her to VBS, she then began attending church and later was baptized at the age of 13, along with her mother and sister. Linda remembers her Pastor giving an altar call to anyone who wanted to "Live for Christ." As a child she was educated in the public schools. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in electrical engineering at the University of Michigan. She also went on to receive her Master’s in electric engineering from Michigan State. There are plans for the future to begin her Ph.D. at SMU. Linda works for Texas Instruments and is in management for the silicon chips division for cellular phones. Linda loves to travel and takes a trip a month out of town to various places like California, Chicago, New Jersey, etc. She has also visited Jamaica, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Greece. Her plans are to visit Europe and Africa. Linda belongs to a basketball League at T.I. and a Plano softball league. Linda very honestly told me when she came "Nobody said anything to me." Quite frankly I’ve been coming here 18 hears and I just met her. So… here are a few questions to ask her when you meet her!
